How these terms fit
These terms apply to an individual using a Votegrain account. The Customer Agreement controls the organisation's purchased service and data-processing terms. These terms do not make an individual personally liable for the organisation's charges unless separately agreed in writing.
Authority and account security
Use Votegrain only when authorised by the relevant organisation or lawful account owner. Give accurate account information, protect credentials, do not share an account and report suspected unauthorised access through demo@votegrain.com.
Permitted use and organisational responsibility
Use Votegrain only for the authorised organisational purpose and comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and participant notices. The organisation decides the initiative purpose, electorate, voting method, governance requirements, recipients and retention.
Votegrain provides software. It does not decide whether a vote, result, meeting or resolution is legally valid, binding or suitable for the organisation's process.
Personal information and access ending
Read the Votegrain Privacy Notice and the organisation's Participant Notice. Questions about participant Customer Data should normally go to the organisation first.
Access may end when the organisation removes authority, the applicable agreement ends, or use breaches these terms or law. Votegrain does not promise an individual a separate export of the organisation's Customer Data.
Accepting these terms
Where Votegrain asks you to accept these terms, it must show or link this exact version, use an unchecked acceptance control and record the authenticated account, version, content hash and server time. Merely viewing this page, receiving an invitation or using an organisation account is not acceptance and does not prove authority to bind an organisation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
